St. Peter’s Parish Choir

The Parish Choir of St. Peter’s is a joyful, dedicated group who sing at the second service on Sunday mornings and at other times as needed.  There are two rehearsals per week – 7:30 – 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday evenings, and 9:30 – 10:15 on Sunday mornings, just before the 10:30 service.  In the summer the group becomes the Summer Singers, when every parishioner is invited to sing, whether a regular choir member or not, joining us on occasional Sunday mornings with no mid-week rehearsal.

Our organist and choir director is Carol Hallenbeck, a graduate of Denison University and Union Theological Seminary’s School of Sacred Music.  The organ is a two-manual Tellers pipe organ of 21 ranks.
